Another of the same style comic. This is what customer service reps. have to deal with every day, but at least we all have some hilarious stories.

Call Center Days: Part I

Random things from working in customer service. I still do, but it's in an actual office with actual cubicles and free coffee so it's feels more adult-like. Seriously, I was ecstatic when I found out that I was getting my own cubicle. How sad is that?

Commissions

     I sometimes do commissions for friends and family, and have recently ventured into selling my artwork.   Here are some sketches for a tattoo commission. I just sent the email, so once he comes back with what he wants or his ideas I'll be working on that for a while. Can't wait to hear back from him! 

     I also have another piece I'm working on! I've only done one sketch, but I'm also looking forward to seeing this one finished. I'll post those when I've sent them over!

     In the meantime, please enjoy the random drawings/comics from my sketchbook. They're from my call center days where I could spend my days answering simple, scripted calls while drawing - basically I could draw 8 hours a day if I wanted. Only part I really miss about the job!

A commission piece.

Sometimes we all need a little courage to face what life brings.

It's not perfect, but I was more doing it as an exercise. The overall effect turned out nice, but a lot of mistakes were made. But, that's how we learn!

Now, I'm not religious (like, at all), but I have many wonderful friends and family members for whom their faith is such an important part of their lives. I wanted to make something that they would enjoy.

A pretty star for your Monday blues! I'm trying to focus on standard/common images. I even made a list of things that I want to draw in this style, I can't wait to show them off!

A sunburst. A few trouble spots, but I'm pretty happy with it. It was a good exercise in uniformity and symmetry.

An older drawing of mine, I probably made this 3-4 years ago. I moved during the spring and while packing, I managed to round up all of my old sketch books. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane and I found some wonderful gems, like this one.

Yin Yang - New Artwork!

Sorry for the long hiatus! We moved, life got a little crazy, etc. Glad to be back with new artwork!! I'm really trying to focus on my pen and ink zen drawings, so expect to see a lot more of those. This one was done in one sitting and I'm very proud of how it turned out.
